Those in the area should visit Bartlett's Orchard for a fun filled day of apple picking in the orchards which include 18 varieties of apples as well as a bakery full of apple baked goods as well as being able to make apple cider the all natural way, come and see a genuine apple cider press in action, even take a jug home!

Richmond is recognized for its scenic beauty of tree lined streets and shadows that cast across the many fields by the surrounding Berkshire Hills. The town seal expresses the picturesque natural beauty perfectly "Tree of Life".

An Evening Under the Stars Farm to Table Dinner & Cabaret

An evening Under the Stars. Dinner, with farm to table selections, and Cabaret entertainment staring Mary Verdi and Company. Held at the beautiful Hilltop Orchards, home of Furnace Brook Winery. Festivities begin at 6:00 PM - rain or shine (large tents will provide shelter). Enjoy a romantic hayride through the orchard before being served dinner at 7:00 PM. The Cabaret music event will start at 8:00 during the serving of desert. After the entertainment, guests can join in at the bonfire sing-a-long.

The gluten free friendly menu features herbed garden roasted boneless breast of chicken accompanied by mixed greens sauteed in garlic and olive oil, and roasted red potatoes seasoned with parmesan cheese, rosemary, garlic and olive oil. The salad will be garden baby greens topped with a pesto salad dressing and local sheep's milk cheese. Local breads will be provided at each table. A carving station will tempt you with roasted beef cooked over an applewood fire. You can compliment your beef with a merlot shallot sauce or horseradish sauce, Desert includesassorted fresh baked homemade pies and incredible chocolates from Chocolate Springs.The meal will be paired with a wonderful selection of Furnace Brook award winning wines.

This event is sponsored by Macy's Department Stores and Chocolate Springs, and is hosted by Hilltop Orchards, home of Furnace Brook Winery. This is a fundraiser event for the Berkshire Carousel, Inc.
